We did 3 nights in this hotel at the beginning of October 2025. This was our second stay at this hotel and it was superb. I would recommend this hotel to any one. The rooms are spotless and the views are spectacular if you have an ocean facing room. ALL staff do an amazing job. Special thanks to Jon, Sugumaren, Fahmi, Fathur, Masirah & Howsar for splendid hospitality at the Beach Bar (If I have spelt names wrong please forgive me!) ALL your staff were really helpful and the hotel has a really great vibe about the place. Everything at this hotel was perfect for us. Plenty of places to eat & drink and to buy gifts nearby also. The water stations at the pool and the ice machines on each floor are a brilliant touch to this amazing place as well as the shop in the hotel to buy extras etc. Thank you again Park Royal. We couldn't fault this place. We will be returning again.

Splendid experience from the minute arriving, to checking in , smiles all the way. 3 days 2 nights experience was magnificient. ||The hospitality was superb. I noticed 1 thing, staffs were warm and welcoming. Everytime we pass by , they greet us with smile making us feel homey & special. Credits to Mr. D.K, Mr. AlFizam & Mr.Rafli. They were very attentive and helpful and smilling all the way. From checking in until checkout.🥰||Room is clean and tidy. Modern and minimalist concept. Breakfast menus was perfect! Delicious with so many varieties.||This was my husband's childhood favourite hotel for the past 30 years. Cameback here because he wanted our kids to experience the same warm and welcoming environment..and Yes, he said he felt the same hospitality like 30 years ago and we met some of the old staffs still working there and still remembered him.||Will come again to continue the childhood experience with our kids. ❤️

As a travel agent, I was thoroughly impressed with this hotel during our three-night stay. We were given a spacious, clean deluxe family room with a sea view, along with a warm welcome of chocolates and fruit. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating.||The hotel offers great amenities, including a gym, steam room, sauna, outdoor pool, and direct beach access. There’s also a kids’ club, which was a great addition for my little one. Breakfast was a highlight, with a wide variety of international and local cuisines to choose from. The nearby night markets were perfect for evening outings.||Overall, a fantastic experience – I’ll be recommending this hotel to my clients and look forward to returning myself!

I came with my family for holidays here and stayed for 5 days and 4 nights. Hands down the best vacation I’ve had. Having Lepat draw my portrait was one of the highlight of my trip, he brings so much life and energy to the place and such a humble guy. The hotel staff were all super nice and accommodating, definitely 5 star quality. The head chef was brilliant as well. I could go on and on but I’m 100% looking forward to staying here again.

beautiful beach resort to spend vacations at. first of all the room was very clean and spacious with all the accessories you would expect. the view over the sea and the hotel facility was absolutely stunning i would absolutely recommend booking a room having it. nothing beats waking up with this gorgeous view every day.
the service is excellent aswell: staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and always open for a quick chat. this applies to literally all the hotel staff, from reception staff to restaurant, housekeeping and even the hotel manager whom i had the honour of meeting. working climate must be brilliant here.
the hotel facility is furnished modern with a lovely lobby and lounge area. i am a big fan of the outside area aswell, only problem here is while the sea looks beautiful it was not ideal to swim in it since there were jellyfish and the waves were relatively strong but the pool area makes up for that. both restaurants are fantastic and offer great value for money especially the gustoso which has a lovely seating area right by the beach. spa and gym are great and there is even a jacuzzi and steamsauna hidden in the back of the gym which no one really used beside us. breakfast buffet is very pleasant but can seem a bit repetitive (maybe due to us staying here quite long) and gets very full past 9 a.m., therefore be sure to go early enough.
as a swiss i am definitely used to high standards in my home country and those were perfectly reached or even exceeded here. overall very happy with my stay here, same goes for the rest of my family (especially my parents). i will most certainly come back here if i find myself in malaysia in a few years or even see the hotel as the reason returning to penang.

I stayed at the Park Royal last week and I was blown away by all of the incredible staff they had. Absolutely it's a beautiful resort and location but the incredible staff were probably the best part of my trip. We made great friends with Muthueswari! (pictured below, please say hi for me if you get the pleasure of meeting her), and talked to many more. They gave great advice and were always happy to see me, I'll be coming back once I can save up again haha.

I had an amazing experience at the resort. The environment is very clean, peaceful, and extremely comfortable. The view from the resort is absolutely magnificent! Perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights of my stay was the excellent service from the staff, especially the bellboy, Alfizan Osman. He was incredibly polite and helpful throughout my stay. He assisted with my luggage upon arrival and also made sure everything was safely transported to my car when I checked out. His professionalism and friendliness truly made a difference. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

Hotel is very well maintained and clean and peaceful

Hotel breakfast consist of many different varieties, but taste wise is not as good

Room is clean and comfortable, very huge bed and comfortable pillow. Only downside is the toilet bowl has stains.

Mr kana, the cleaner did a really good job at maintaining a clean toilet at the lobby. Very friendly too.

Gym is well equipped! Very clean and has lots of equipment.
