I recently sent my 5 1/2 year old son (who doesn’t speak/write any mandarin) to Bao Bei in the hopes that he can catch up with the language to prepare him for Chinese primary school (his first language is english).

He started his Bao Bei journey in February 2025, it has been 4 months since he joined. He loves his classes and always looks forward to it everyday (Mon-Fri). Ever since he joined he has been able to write and recognise many mandarin words very well, and is also able to speak a few full sentences.

His interest in the language is all thanks to his teachers (Ms Wei Wei, Ms Shan Shan & Ms Connie) who he constantly speaks highly of as “very nice and patient” with him.

He always comes home feeling very motivated after his classes. He loves it so much that he uses Bao Bei methods to teach everyone at home so that we can all learn and speak mandarin together with him.

I would highly recommend Bao Bei to anyone who wants their children to pick up mandarin language. I always look forward to seeing his progress, and can’t wait to see his achievements and many more milestones to come!

My children has been in Bao Bei for 2.5 years and it has been a wonderful learning and fun experience for them. The teachers are very patient and understanding especially Ms. Connie and Wei wei lao shi. They are accommodating, supportive and provide detailed no sugar coated feedback about our children's progress, ups and downs.

My 4yo son love this place so much! Until the extend that if he fell asleep in the car (on the way to class) I woke him upon arrival and he make no fuss to get down for class. He always comes back from class with a big grin on his face. Coming from a Banana family we are very happy that he can adapt so well in class. He always mention all the Teacher's and Student's name in the class, they are all very friendly.

He learnt a lot of Chinese words too, will always bring back some Chinese character flashcards and ask his Banana father to test him. His father will ask him what it mean and he will proudly explain. He's only been there for 2 months and he show very very great achievement! My husband and I are really happy with this programme, until the extend he don't let the kid ponteng class when I am not free to send him. Great work Teacher Connie and Team!

Teacher Connie is a very knowledgeable and experienced teacher..other than teaching mandarin, she is also firm in correcting children's learning attitude and behaviour. My son's Chinese letters bank has improved a lot,surprisingly he could recall those letters after so long.

Able to recognise and apply the words in day to day use after few classes attend in Baobei bukit tinggi. Manage to converse in mandarin confidently. Teachers are friendly and patient in attending the children. Suggest to share some photos of the activity done in class so that parents aware what is learnt in the classes
