Datang jam 5.33ptg bawak kanak kanak sorang… tapi life guard kata kolam limit… tak boleh kena tggu sesi jam 7.30 padahal guna kolam kanak2.

👎👎👎👎👎lain kali dah tutup bagitau, guard pun tak kata apa. yang staff DSA pun boleh lalu saja naik kereta tak inform apa apa. bodoh tak bertempat. tak fikir orang datang dari jauh

semua bagus，jika ada sesi pagi di Selasa-Jumaat lagi baik，cuma harap pemakaian kolam renang boleh dijaga，kelihatan remaja pakai seluar dalam masuk ke kolam renang.

Everything is good except that

the shallow pool takes up too much unused space. See the red divider in Pic.

The kids pool have no roof/ shade. People who just want to dip in water not swimming cant use the kids pool. See sun blazing the kids pool n no one use.

And long line ticket queue. Can only buy ticket 5 mins before the session. Weird rule.

Review for Beginner Class Only – Excellent Facilities but Not Suitable for Very Young Kids (In Our Experience)

This review is specifically for the beginner swimming class at DSA Aquatic Centre Seberang Jaya. The facilities are excellent – clean, well-maintained, and overall quite impressive. That said, our experience with the beginner class for my 5-year-old child was unfortunately not a positive one.

We joined based on the strong reviews from the KL branch, expecting a similarly positive environment. While the class setting was calm, the experience with the assigned coach, Coach Eddie Cheong, was difficult for us. He is undoubtedly a highly professional coach with many achievements, but in our case, his strict and harsh approach did not suit our young child.

During the first session, my child was yelled at in a very stern manner, which caused tears and left them traumatized – to the point they now refuse to go back. While other children may have coped fine, for a 5-year-old beginner, it was too overwhelming. I was present during the class and felt the coach wasn’t particularly patient or gentle with junior students.

I reached out to HQ and even approached the branch counter, but the general response was that “the coach is just strict by nature.” There seemed to be no alternative options or much support given, which was disappointing.

To be clear, this is not a criticism of the coach’s professionalism – rather, it’s about fit. This centre may be great for older or more confident children, or adults. But for very young beginners, especially those new to swimming, I would advise parents to try a trial class first and see how your child responds to the teaching style.

Again, this is purely based on my child’s individual experience. Others might find it completely fine. I’m only sharing this here because I couldn’t find another way to provide constructive feedback.

This renovated pool is a stark difference from the old. There are 3 types of changing room: Male, Female & Family. There's shampoo and body wash in all of them. The main pool is covered with a roof. So, it's not hot and your skin don't get sun burnt. However the kids pool is not. Hoping for it to be covered so parents can bring their kids round the clock. Adherence to strict swimming attire. Beach shorts are not allowed. There are classes there as well.

Good swimming pool facility to practice swimming. There are swimming class here too. The facility is very good and super clean. There are also few lifeguards that are always ready. The toilet and changing is very clean.
