Salah satu tempat ternyaman selama belajar di UPM. Koleksi referensi yg banyak, layanan yg prima, dan tempat yg nyaman. Biasanya saya menghabiskan waktu sampai jam 9 malam di sini.

I like the experience of studying with the rest of the students, looking around in an environment where I can find students formed groups and discussed in the discussion rooms available, while the rest are busy doing their own assignments and doing the write ups

But 3 things for sure that could be improved to make the library better are the quality of the washrooms and toilets, the easy access to discussion rooms and the courtesy of the staff

The toilets are not really reflecting the whole institute and the students; the condition should be better in some aspects. The staff perhaps could be using a better mechanism when asking the students to leave at the end of the opening hour and the access to all discussion rooms should be available regardless of the numbers of students and how long the duration provided no other students booked for the next slots. It provides the best view if all discussion rooms are fully utilized daily.

I believe upm will try to improve the services to the optimum level and all the students know how to appreciate the facility available well
And perhaps there is a mechanism to ensure no unknown individuals can get into the facility for donation purposes. One time, an individual was seen asking for donations from the students. Encouraging to do good deeds is not wrong but it would be better if there is a mechanism to ensure that they are reliable and not a scammer

only accessible to upm students. have a tremendous amount of resources including subscribed online database. some books here are really rare and hard to find. loaning and returning books are fully automated using machines and verified using student matric card. one of the better university libraries in malaysia. only downside is its not open during public holidays and weekends.
